The Santa Sleigh 5K takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Metter, GA. The event starts in front of City Hall at 49 South Roundtree Street and is set in downtown Metter. A children's fun run precedes the main 5K, and award presentations are held after the race for each age division. Additional seasonal spirit and costume awards include categories such as "Cutest Christmas Canine", "Most Decked Out Duo", "Most Festive Family", and "Santa’s Most Rockin Little Reindeer". Wagons, strollers, and family-friendly dogs on leashes are allowed on the course.

Registration for the 5K is priced at $35 and the children's fun run at $25. Registration closes on December 12, 2025. The event is a fundraising effort for the Metter High School Beta Club; raised funds support the club's service projects, competitive events, student travel and competition fees, and will also assist a Beta Club member with medical expenses related to an upcoming transplant.
