Strides for Africa

Strides for Africa is a family-friendly run/walk event held at McPike Park in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, as part of the Africa Fest 2025 kickoff. Participants can choose from various distances including a 5K run, 5K walk, 1.5-mile fun walk, a unique 1.5-mile team relay simulating water collection challenges in rural Africa, and a 0.25-mile kids fun run. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere for all ages and promotes global citizenship.
