About the race
Stub Stewart Trail Challenge is a multi-distance trail race held at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park in Buxton, Oregon. The course is a fast, 6.5-mile loop that blends Banks-Vernonia Trail pavement with unpaved roads, offering rolling hills and occasional climbs.
Distances this year include a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full marathon, all based on repeating the loop. A standout feature is the flexible finish: runners may stop at any of the distances after starting, with results reflecting their chosen finish.
