Event overview
The SUPER HERO 5K is an inaugural road and park run set for Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Cartersville, GA. The event distance is 5K and the course uses the rolling pathways of Sam Smith Park plus surrounding surface streets. The race benefits Helping Hands for Bartow Kids (HHBK), an organization that provides educational, healthcare, and social services for children in Bartow County. Logistics and awards
Registration fee listed is $30 and registration closes January 25, 2026. Pre-registration packet pick-up is available the day before the race at Talk of the Town Salon on West Main Street; packets are also available on race day. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food and hygiene products for the Allatoona Resource Center and Red Door Food Pantry. Runners are encouraged to wear superhero attire. Race swag is not guaranteed for those who register on race day. Awards include top 3 Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, and medals to the top 3 in multiple age categories ranging from 10 & under through 70 & over.
