Event overview
SUPER SAM'S 5K+ & DINO DASH takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Bachman Lake Park, 2750 Bachman Drive, Dallas, TX. The event includes an in-person 5K loop around Bachman Lake that is slightly extended due to a course detour and a kids 1K run. A virtual 5K option runs alongside the in-person events. The event is held rain or shine and registration includes a race swag bag.

- 1 km Dino Dash (open to ages 12 and under; all Dino Dash participants receive a participation medal)
- 5 km Super Sam's 5K+ (timed)
- Supporter ticket - untimed (in-person)
- 5 km Super Sam's 5K - Virtual
Awards include medals for overall top male and female 5K finishers, age-group awards for timed 5K finishers (including 26-49 and 50+), age-group awards for under 13, and awards for the top three virtual 5K finishers. A post-race celebration is planned with live music, bounce houses, recreational games, food and drinks. The event will feature a construction theme for the detour and notes volunteer and sponsorship opportunities.
