Event details
The Superior Nightmare 5K is scheduled for October 25, 2025, in Superior, Wisconsin (ZIP 54880). The main road race covers 3.1 miles and starts and finishes near Wessman Arena (2701 Catlin Ave.). The event features a Halloween theme and encourages participants to wear costumes. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Registration and packet pickup
Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred to another year. Online registration closes on October 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Late registration and packet pickup are available the day before the race at Grandma's Marathon Office (351 Canal Park Dr., Duluth) and on race day at Wessman Arena. Specific packet pickup times are listed by the organizer. The event also includes a Spider Dash for kids 14 and under.
Organizer and beneficiary
The event is organized by Grandma's Marathon. Proceeds benefit the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF). YAF supports youth athletics, physical fitness, and related programs; since 1990 the foundation has donated more than $1.8 million in grants, scholarships, athletic shoes, and kids programming.
