About the race
Hosted on the Stockton University campus in Galloway, NJ, the Talon Trot 5K & Fun Run offers multiple 5K options: the Talon Trot 5K, Young Alumni 5K (2015-2024), and Student 5K, plus Talon Tikes for kids. Runners start and finish on the track at Stockton University Sports Center, then pass through dorms, North Athletic Fields, and wooded trails around Lake Fred. The course blends fast flats, shaded forest paths, and a track finish, delivering a campus-adventure atmosphere.
All participants receive a commemorative shirt, recovery drinks and snacks, and awards for top finishers by gender and age group; net proceeds support cross country and track programs. Talon Tikes is free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
