The Tater-Tot Trot takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Mineola Nature Preserve in Mineola, Texas (75773). The event offers multiple entry options and includes an in-person and a virtual option.

- 5K - 5 kilometers
- 1 Mile - 1 mile, untimed

Race features
Registration for the 5K and 1 Mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by February 28. The 1 Mile is an untimed event and does not offer age group awards. The Kid's Dash is a short sprint for children; dashers register for free and may purchase a t-shirt or finisher medal as add-ons. The virtual option includes shipping of the shirt and medal the week of the race.
Age group awards for the 5K are given four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Separate overall and masters categories (40+ and 60+) receive platinum medals. Awards will be distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
