The Tater-Tot Trot takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Sugar Land Memorial Park, 15300 University Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77479. The event program includes these options:
- Kid's Dash : short 100–200 m sprint
- 5K
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Virtual Option
Registration, shirts and awards
Entry fees listed by the organizer are: Kid's Dash free, 5K $30, 1 Mile $15, and Virtual Option $40. The 5K and 1 Mile prices increase after December 31, 2025. Registration deadlines for some events extend through March 8, 2026. Registration for the 5K and 1 Mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal; registrants are advised to register by February 21 to guarantee t-shirt size. The 1 Mile is an untimed option with no age group awards; virtual registrants receive shipped shirt and medal the week of the race. Age group awards for the 5K are awarded four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and Masters/Grand Masters categories receive platinum medals.
