Awards will be given to overall 5K winners, Masters, and the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age group. The first 250 5K participants to register are guaranteed a finisher medal. All 5K registrants receive a goody bag and a tech shirt (shirts guaranteed through February 28). Youth ages 15 and under may register for the 5K at a reduced fee of $25. The one-mile route follows the 5K course briefly, turns toward the Indian River Lagoon, and crosses Seaway Drive Bridge; it is untimed and carries no awards, though registrants receive tickets for a runners drawing.
