About the race
Tecumseh Trail Challenge is a fall trail-running festival held in Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana. The event offers five distances: 8-mile Fun Run, 13.1-mile half marathon, 26.2-mile marathon, 50K, and a 50K relay for 2–4 runners. The relay uses an 8-mile loop, making the team event roughly 32 miles.
Runners start and finish at the Jackson Creek Trailhead, with festival-style camping on-site and nearby primitive sites. The course was redesigned for a nostalgic feel around railroad closures, delivering demanding yet rewarding terrain through autumn-colored woods. All finishers receive medals; post-race highlights include a mashed-potato bar, smores, and on-site finish-time engravings, creating a strong community vibe.
