Event overview
The Texas Quad is a four-day running event held Thursday through Sunday, November 27-30, 2025, at Bachman Lake Pavilion in Dallas, Texas (3500 W Northwest Hwy, 75220). Runners may enter individual half or full marathon events on any of the four days, or register for the series covering all four days. Single-day event pricing is listed at $95 and the all-4-days option at $380; prices increase after November 15, 2025. The event is USATF sanctioned and official results are scored by gun time. There is no time limit for participants. Registration policies state no refunds or transfers, and registering 30 days in advance is required to guarantee a t-shirt.
Course and logistics
The course circles Bachman Lake on concrete and asphalt and uses repeated loops:
- 13.38 miles - half (4 loops)
- 26.76 miles - full (8 loops)
The course is rerouted due to construction and is not certified. It is mostly flat with two small climbs near a dam and the start/finish area each loop. Aid stations are placed about every 3 miles and are stocked with sports drink, water, pretzels and bananas; runners may leave a cooler or bag near aid areas. Bathrooms are at the start/finish and at several locations around the lake. Packet pickup is available the day before at the nearby Embassy Suites and at the race site on race days. Free parking is available, mostly within about 50 yards of the pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
