The Aden Perry Hero Event

The Aden Perry Hero Event 5k is a commemorative run/walk held annually at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. This chip-timed 5K honors Aden Perry’s heroic legacy and supports the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund. The event features a great course, long-sleeved dri-wick race shirts, custom finisher medals, and awards for top finishers, including scholarships for young runners.

Participants are encouraged to bring school supplies for donation to students in need. The event also includes pre-race yoga, live music, a Girl Scout color guard, CPR demonstrations, raffles, a silent auction, and family-friendly activities, creating a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere dedicated to community support and remembrance.
