The Backland

The Backland is an exciting last-man-standing trail race located near the Texas-Oklahoma border, set to take place at Walnut Creek Resort & Marina in Gordonville, TX. Participants must complete a 4.5-mile loop within one hour, with the challenge continuing until only one runner remains. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize, a trophy, and a six-pack of beer or root beer.

All finishers are awarded a long sleeve shirt, and those completing significant distances earn special belt buckles.
