The Battle of the Run Clubs takes place on January 24, 2026 in Aiken, SC, at 117 Stable Drive. Distances offered are:
- 10 Miler
- 10K
- 5K
Registration closes on Fri, Jan 23. There is a packet pickup and check-in before the races and awards are given after the events.
Race format and scoring
The event accepts both team and individual entries. All runners register individually and provide a team or club name during registration; individuals may enter as "Free Agent" and can be combined into mixed teams. There are six scored races: men's and women's divisions for each distance.
Placings are scored by position, with 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 3 points, and so on. Team scores use the top four placings from each team; the lowest total wins. Additional team members do not increase a team score but can affect other teams' placings.
Facilities and awards
The winning team's name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy displayed at Stable View. Individual trophies will also be awarded. Food will be provided by StableView's Graze and Gaze. Showers are available on site and adult beverages are available at cost in the Tavern. Stable View offers lodging and RV hookups for participants who wish to stay nearby.
