Event overview
The Sunrise Marathon event takes place on May 2, 2026 at Piney Creek Hollow Park, 6140 South Tower Road, Centennial, Colorado. The event offers multiple distance options and a wave start format. The run is described as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. Waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and participants may join late; coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave.

Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with running apps (for example Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run) and submit results for online posting, or ask coordinators to help with timekeeping. Packet pickup is not required; race shirts and swag are shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration and race bibs are given on race day. Swag items include a running t-shirt (US shipping), finisher's towel or giveaway, finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are available as a $5 upgrade. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided.
