The Cheap Marathon

The Cheap Marathon, held annually in Derry, New Hampshire, offers both marathon and half-marathon distances on a flat, fast out-and-back course along the Derry & Windham Rail Trail. The marathon consists of two loops, while the half marathon is a single loop, making it ideal for runners aiming for a personal record or Boston Qualifier. The course features minimal elevation gain and is USATF certified.

The event uses a time trial start format to optimize race conditions. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are spaced every two miles. Post-race refreshments and free digital photos are provided.
