The 5k Chicken Run takes place on April 26, 2026 in Oviedo, Florida. The event is based at Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo FL 32765. The event includes an in-person 5k Run/Walk and a virtual option. Net proceeds support Victory Track Club and local youth sports programs.
Race details and logistics
Packet pick-up is available only on race day at the race site. All participants are chip timed and receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus top three male and female finishers in age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+. Parking is provided at Oviedo Mall. Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash.
Entry fees listed on the event page are $20 for the in-person 5k and $25 for the virtual option. Registration details on the event page note that the virtual registration closes on April 3, 2026 and that the in-person price increases after January 31, 2026.
