The Chocolate Turkey

The Chocolate Turkey is a festive running event held in Peoria, Illinois, featuring a 3-mile run and a 1-mile walk along the scenic Peoria Riverfront. Organized by ShaZam Racing and RC Outfitters, this Thanksgiving Day tradition supports Elite Community Outreach, a local nonprofit focused on community development. Participants enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with live holiday music from the Elite Holiday Choir and receive unique race swag, including a triblend long-sleeve shirt and a 3.5 oz solid chocolate turkey.
