The District Dash

Event overview

The District Dash Donuts and Drafts takes place on September 25, 2025, at The District at Eastover, Eastover Drive, Jackson, MS. The event is in its fifth year and shows 46 participants listed. On-site race day registration is available. All events are chip-timed by MS Race Timing and Management Services. T-shirts are guaranteed to those who sign up before September 22; additional sizes will be available at packet pickup while supplies last. No strollers or pets are allowed.

Race formats and rules

All main events are 1 mile each, run as four approximately 1/4 mile laps around The District. Available formats include:

• Open Mile
• Donut Mile
• Beer Mile
• Beer Mile Relay

In the Donut Mile each participant eats one donut at the start and one donut after the first, second, and third laps. In the Beer Mile participants drink one beer at the start and one beer after the first, second, and third laps; beers must be consumed in designated drinking areas and runners may not resume until they have finished each beer. The Beer Mile and Beer Mile Relay require participants to be 21 or older. The Beer Mile Relay teams may consist of 2, 3, or 4 people; each team runs four laps and each participant must consume one beer before running a lap. Relay participants do not receive a t-shirt. Individual event winners receive a pair of On shoes; Triple Crown winners receive a gift basket; Beer Relay winners receive a surprise award.
