Event overview
The Lake Louisa State Park Trail Run takes place on November 8, 2025 in Clermont, Florida (7305 U.S. Highway 27). The event offers three distances:
- 5K (3.10 miles)
- 10K (6.23 miles)
- Half-Marathon (13.10 miles)
The event is chip timed. All finishers receive a medallion. The event provides race swag and a post-race awards ceremony. Individual awards are given for overall male and female places and for masters 50+, plus age-group awards for standard decade groups from 0-19 up to 80+. Team awards include fastest civil servant team and awards for the largest teams.
Course and logistics
Course data lists elevation gain for each distance: 5K 69 ft, 10K 135 ft, Half-Marathon 275 ft. Aid stations are placed approximately every 2 miles; the 5K has 1 aid station, the 10K has 3, and the half-marathon has 6. Some aid stations are self-serve. On-course restrooms are provided at specific miles on the 10K and half-marathon; the half-marathon also lists nutrition at the last three aid stations (bananas and bars). Packet pick-up is available at the National Training Center and at Lake Louisa State Park on the days before and the day of the event.
