About the race
The WGPAL Donut Dash 5K is a fun and unique running event held in historic Downtown Winter Garden, Florida, featuring a scenic course through charming neighborhoods and along Lake Apopka. Participants can run or walk the 5K while enjoying a playful twist: three "donut zones" along the route where eating donuts reduces their final time, with extra bonuses for eating more than 12. The event supports the Winter Garden Police Athletic League, which offers summer camps and holiday programs for local children in need.
