Event
The Great West Chase is a chip-timed community run on Saturday, October 25, 2025, held at West Park Village in Tampa, Florida. The event is organized by The World of Westchase (WOW magazine) and is nationally certified by USATF/RRTC, with certification codes FL23032JK (10K) and FL23031JK (5K). The race has grown to more than 1,300 participants across its events. One hundred percent of net proceeds support math and literacy programs for local elementary school programs.

Early registration is available through September 15. Registration methods listed include online, by mail, in person at packet pickup, or on race day. Published entry fees are $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K, $25 for the Kids Fun Run, and $65 for the Challenge Run. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, October 23, at the Westchase Recreation Center, 9791 Westchase Dr., Tampa, FL 33626.
