Event details
The Holiday Showdown takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Irving, Texas at Sam Houston Trail Park (101 I-635, Irving, TX 75038). The event offers multiple race distances and a short children’s dash. Distances include:
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Kid's Dash (100-200 m)
The Kid's Dash is a short sprint held before the main races. Dash participants receive a participation shirt and may add a finisher medal to their registration.
Registration and awards
Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (t-shirt cutoff is November 23, 2025). Finisher medals are included for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon. Event entry fees are listed for each distance and increase after November 29, 2025.
Age group awards are given three deep for male and female divisions in these groups: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall male and female winners, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) receive gold medals and a special award. Awards will be distributed at the event and will not be shipped; participants are asked to check results before leaving. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
