Event information
The Holiday Showdown takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Sam Houston Trail Park, 101 I-635, Irving, TX 75038. The event program includes the following distances:
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Kid's Dash
The Half-Marathon course is run as two laps. The Kid's Dash is a short sprint of about 100-200 meters. Race-day packet pick-up is available.
Registration and awards
Entry fees listed at publication are: Kid's Dash $15, 5K $42, 10K $52, Half-Marathon $85. Prices increase after November 29, 2025. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (t-shirt cutoff is November 23) and a finisher medal for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon. Kid dash participants receive a participation shirt and may add a finisher medal to their registration.
Age-group awards are given three deep in male and female divisions: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall male and female, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) receive gold medals and a special award. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
