The King of Eagle Mountain Trail Challenge

The KING of Eagle Mountain Trail Challenge takes place in Fort Worth, Texas, at Eagle Mountain Park. The race offers a 3.3-mile loop with a climbing route through the hilliest sections of the trails, available in multiple endurance formats. In 2025 the event emphasizes cooler conditions, with a post-run brat fest and sponsored sock rewards.

Co-sponsored by Altra Running and Darn Tough Socks, each participant receives fresh Darn Tough trail socks and a commemorative T-shirt. It is a duration-format event—bib punches after each loop—while trails stay open to the public. Relay teams (2–6 runners) are allowed; entries capped at 90.
