The Magnificent Bastards Challenge
The Magnificent Bastards Challenge, held in Corinth, Vermont, is a grueling endurance event honoring fallen Marines. It features a Last Man Standing race with 1-mile loops that include 300 feet of climbing, each to be completed within 20 minutes, repeated until only one runner remains. A special fast 24th mile lap offers a prize for the quickest time.
The Last Rucker Standing event involves similar loops with weighted packs (35 lbs for men, 25 lbs for women), starting with 30-minute loops that shorten over time. An Honor Lap allows participants to complete one loop at their own pace to support Northeast Slopes. Medals and custom gear are awarded to finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
