The Mama Bear Run 5K takes place on May 09, 2026 in West Islip, NY at The Bridges Academy, 339 Snedecor Avenue. The event is held rain or shine and includes a main 5K race plus a separate kids fun run. The course runs on residential roads through West Islip and along the Keith Canal.

Logistics, amenities, and registration
Registration includes options for a 5K run/walk and donations. Participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt. Personalized race numbers are available for those who register three weeks before race day. Event amenities listed by the organizer include refreshments, finish line photos, a post-race raffle or giveaways, and same-day finish line pictures and video. Live online, email, and text results are provided. Bib pickup is managed by event staff on site.
