About the race
The Midnight Dreary is held in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, at the Town Hall track. This USATF-sanctioned endurance event offers 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour races on a certified 400-meter rubberized track, with lights to enable night running. The venue provides a gym with restrooms and showers, a kitchenette, and two porta-potties near the track.
An aid station supplies water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, and light foods, with limited hot items. Runners rotate directions every four hours and receive live timing updates on an electronic display.
