Event overview
The MT. TAMMANY 10 is a trail ultramarathon near Delaware Water Gap, New Jersey, scheduled for March 21, 2026. The event covers an almost 40.0 mile route and is organized as ten repeated loops on the same section of trail. The course includes ten climbs and reports over 10,000 feet of total elevation gain. Registration closes on Wed, Mar 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
Course and logistics
The Start/Finish is at the Kittatinny Parking Lot Pavilion. Each loop runs from the pavilion to the Dunnfield parking lot, then up the Red-Dot trail to the summit of Mt. Tammany. Runners continue on a blue-blaze trail for about 1/2 mile before descending Mt. Tammany, crossing the river, and joining the Appalachian Trail for about 1/3 mile back to Dunnfield. Runners repeat this sequence for a total of ten loops. Participants must return to the pavilion for check-in and loop verification at the end of every 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th loop.
