About the race
The Original Columbus Turkey Trot is an annual family-friendly running event held in Columbus, Ohio, at The Shops on Lane Avenue. It features multiple race options including a 5-mile run, a 2.6-mile Walk N' Talk, and a Tot Trot—a 100-yard dash for children under 12. The courses are out-and-back routes passing landmarks like the historic Ohio Stadium and the university.
Virtual race options are also available, allowing participants to run at their own pace on Thanksgiving Day. All in-person finishers receive custom medals and 1/4 zip long sleeve shirts.
