About the race
The Rising is a community running event held in Oviedo, Florida, starting at the First United Methodist Church. It features a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Double Dare race along the scenic Cross Seminole Trail, with an additional Kids' Fun Run under one mile on a beautiful canopied road. The event supports local charities such as HopeHelps, Inc.
and The Oviedo Preservation Project, with school teams competing for grants. Participants can earn cash prizes, medals, and age group awards.
