About the race
The SKIPPO Trail Race takes place at Castlewood State Park’s Special Events Area in Ballwin, Missouri. It offers multiple trail distances: 10k, Half-Marathon, 30k, plus the 10k-Half Marathon Challenge and the 40k Challenge (10k and 30k). The event spans two days (November 1–2, 2025) to accommodate growing participation.
The course uses Castlewood’s scenic trails and features the park’s famous stairs, adding a notable challenge. A Saturday team competition invites groups of up to five to combine the three fastest times for a winning result. Castlewood’s natural beauty and varied terrain make it a popular local choice.
