The Unforeseen

The Unforeseen is a unique ultramarathon event held at Reedy Creek Nature Preserve in Charlotte, NC. The race features a random distance determined by a dice roll just before the start, ranging from 4.5 to 27 miles, with each lap measuring 2.25 miles. The course is a fast, flowing loop combining flat gravel and single-track trails, marked with yellow arrows for easy navigation.

Aid is provided at the pavilion near the nature center, which also serves as the start and finish area.
