Tiffany Parker Porter "Runs The Yard" 5K Run/Walk

Location: Lawrenceville, GA, at Georgia Gwinnett College (1000 University Center Lane). The Tiffany Parker Porter "Runs The Yard" 5K Run/Walk is a community event honoring the namesake and raising breast cancer awareness while supporting scholarships. Organized by the Ivy League of South Gwinnett Foundation and Alpha Alpha Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the event features a 5K Run/Walk and a Kid's Fun Run for ages 8 and under.

Features include a custom race swag and a Finisher's Medal, plus two $500 book scholarships for currently enrolled GGC students and two $500 scholarships for graduating seniors from partner high schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
