The start location is at First Magnitude Brewing, 1220 SE Veitch St, Gainesville, FL 32601. The course uses the paved Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail.
Race details
The half marathon has a 3-hour course time limit. Organizers plan to provide run-only pacers with target finish times ranging from 1:30 to 2:20 and paces from about 6:52 to 10:40 per mile. On-course hydration for the half will include water and electrolytes at three aid stations, with gels available at Aid Station 3 (about halfway). The 5k will have water and electrolytes before and after the race and at Aid Station 1. Runners are asked to use aid stations on the right to avoid oncoming participants.
Packet pickup is available race morning. Registration is open online until one hour before the race start. Parking is shown on the event map; Parking Area #1 is noted as the closest option, with additional lots including #2 and two First Magnitude lots that may fill quickly. The event will use the RaceJoy app for live GPS tracking and spectator features. The event is volunteer-led and requests volunteer support.
