Tom Walker PREVIEW 5k and 10k in Gainesville, Florida, takes place Saturday, October 11, 2025. The events offer 5k and 10k distances on the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail, following part of the Tom Walker Half Marathon course planned for the following month. The route offers a scenic, trail-running atmosphere along the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail.
Both races start together and share the first 1.55 miles before diverging. The start is at Boulware Springs Park (3300 SE 15th St). This professionally timed preview is free for Florida Track Club members and $20 for non-members.
