Event details
The Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Tomball Event Center, 20235 Cypress Rosehill Rd, Tomball, TX 77377. The main race is a timed 5k (3.1 miles). Awards will be given to the top three runners in each classification. The event is open to Tomball ISD students and staff and to the Tomball community.

A separate 1-mile walking course will be set up around the Tomball ISD Stadium. A "Sleep in Pass" event option is also offered.
Festival, vendors and use of funds
A free festival will run inside Tomball ISD Stadium. The Kidzone includes inflatables, a bounce house, a toddler soft play area, a rock climbing wall, and face-painting. Tomball ISD student performances are scheduled throughout the event. A Health & Wellness Vendor Fair will feature local community partners. The 5k will be broadcast live on the stadium video board for non-participants - subject to change.
Proceeds first cover event costs. Remaining funds are used to provide incentives for employee health and wellness across district campuses and departments and to support the Tomball Education Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
