The Tomoka Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ormond Beach, Florida. The event includes multiple 5K categories: a general Tomoka Elementary 5K Run/Walk, a Tomoka Elementary students and staff category, and a local cross-country/track team category. The course begins at the back of Tomoka Elementary School and finishes behind the school at the PE pavilion.
Logistics and details
The race start and finish are at Tomoka Elementary School, 999 Old Tomoka Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. The route runs east through the Brookwood neighborhood (down Brookwood Drive and around Mayfield Circle), along Old Tomoka Road to the walking trail that leads to Haas Park, then returns to the school. Additional parking is available at Tomoka United Methodist Church across the street. Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race morning. Entry fees vary by registration date and by category, with lower prices for early registration and separate pricing for Tomoka Elementary students and faculty. In-person participants registered before February 4, 2026, are guaranteed event T-shirts; refreshments are provided after the race. Timing will be done with disposable electronic tags attached to bibs; bibs should be worn on the front, pinned at all four corners and visible.
