Event overview
The 14th Annual Trot the Manor takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Chatham Boro, New Jersey. The event is centered at the corner of Jackson and Rowan Road and includes activities on Thanksgiving morning. Two race events are offered:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Proceeds from the event benefit the Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department and Chatham Volunteer EMS. A map of the race course is available for reference.
Entry, shirts and community activities
Registration is available via RunSignUp or the event website. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run; race day registration is $30. The first 500 registrants are guaranteed a shirt, though sizes cannot be guaranteed; shirts are distributed through Art with Heart at 13A Roosevelt Ave, Chatham, NJ, with pickup scheduled the day before the race. The organizer is selling a limited run of 40 "Trot" hats; hats do not replace shirt giveaways. The event includes a food drive in partnership with a local church; requested items are nonperishable food, toiletries, diapers and wipes, to be dropped off at 24 Jackson Ave, Chatham, NJ by Monday, November 25, 2025.
