Tucson Marathon Events : December 14, 2025
The event is a point-to-point road race held from Biosphere 2 / Catalina area to Pima Community College Northwest Campus in Oro Valley / Tucson, Arizona on December 14, 2025. Distances offered include:
- 50K Ultra - ~31.6 miles
- Marathon - 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- Marathon Relay - four-person team, limited to 50 teams
All full and half courses are USATF certified and the marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Courses are primarily paved and run net downhill along the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, with the half starting at the Golder Ranch Fire Administration building and joining the marathon route on The Loop bike path.
Race details and logistics
Aid stations are placed at regular intervals along each course and the Official Performance Nutrition partner supplies on-course fueling. Pacers are scheduled for a range of marathon and half-marathon finish times; there are no pacers for the 50K. Marathon and 50K runners may be dropped off at the Biosphere 2 start; half-marathon runners must use race-provided shuttles and parking is not allowed at the half start. Packet pickup is available in Phoenix on Friday and at Pima Community College on Saturday. All finishers receive a commemorative medal; age-group and overall awards are distributed on-site and are not mailed. Cutoff times are enforced along the course.
