Event details
The Turkey Shuffle San Antonio takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Southside Lions Park, 3900 Pecan Valley Dr, San Antonio, TX 78210. The event is presented by Bigfoot Running Company. Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations will be on the course and snacks and refreshments will be available at the finish area. A DJ will provide music during the event. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and medal. Shirt orders are guaranteed if ordered at least 10 days before the event.
Distances, timing and awards
- Kids Dash - ~50 meter dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - not chip timed, includes shirt and medal
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed
- 10K - 6.22 miles, chip timed
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited to first 20 participants
- Virtual Run
The 5K and 10K include chip timing, overall trophies for 1st male and female, masters recognition pins, and standard age group award pins across specified age brackets. A costume contest awards the "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two future race entries, a HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is listed for ages 12 and under. Participants who refer five others are eligible for a specified refund.
