Event details
Turkey Trek Tomball is the first annual running event at Burroughs Park in Tomball, TX. The start and finish are located near the pavilion parking lot at the park. Parking is available in the main parking lot. The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K Turkey Trek
- 1 Mile Kids Turkey Trek
The race has a course that is fully marked and supported and includes an aid station with hydration and snacks. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers, an Old Timer 1st place for age 50 and over (male and female), and a DFL "Dead Freakin' Last" award. Race gear includes a Turkey Trek beanie. The organizer notes a 3-hour cutoff for the event.
Registration and costs
Registration is limited to 100 participants and closes the day before the race or when capacity is reached. No race day registration is available. 5K pricing follows a tiered schedule: opening $35, October 1 $40, November 1 $45. Kid's Mile pricing is: opening $20, October 1 $25, November 1 $35.
