About the race
Belvidere, Illinois hosts the 2025 Turkey Trot 5K, organized by the Belvidere North Music Boosters. The inaugural event takes place at 1111 Fairgrounds Road, Blue Shelter, and aims for a family-friendly, festive atmosphere that invites runners, walkers, families, and music lovers to kick off the holiday season with purpose. The event features a 5K distance for runners and walkers.
All proceeds go directly to Belvidere North High School’s music program, funding instrument repair and replacement, equipment upgrades, music camps, leadership development opportunities, expanded programming, and student scholarships.
