Event details
The Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Alamosa, Colorado. The event takes place at Cattails Golf Course, located at 500 Cottonwood Drive, Alamosa, CO 81101. The course begins and ends at the golf course and includes a 5K run/walk. A separate walking route around the golf course will also be available. The event is organized as a fun run and will not be timed. The event will proceed regardless of weather.
Registration, fees and extras
All entries are online only. Entry fees are $25 for adults and $15 for participants age 17 and under. Early bird registrations completed by November 10, 2025, are guaranteed a unisex race T-shirt; participants who do not receive a shirt will be provided a Turkey Trot canvas tote bag designed by a local artist. Race-day pickup is provided for shirts or tote bags. A portion of proceeds from each entry will be donated to a local charity or cause; the beneficiary will be announced by the organizers. Knee Knockers Bar & Grill will offer coffee and snacks after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
