Event overview
The Turkey Trot (Sunday) takes place on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Bill Barber Memorial Park in Irvine, with the entrance near Harvard Ave and Civic Center Plaza. The event offers multiple distance options:

The event is a private reservation and is not endorsed or sponsored by the City of Irvine. The course uses a shared path and is open to the public; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the route.
Course and logistics
Course layout is based on out-and-back loops. The 5k is an out-and-back route; the 10k is two 5k loops; the 15k is three 5k loops; the half marathon is three loops of approximately 4.36 miles each. Course markings will be provided. Park restrooms are approximately 200-300 m from the start/finish/check-in area; an additional restroom is about 0.62 miles (1 km) away at San Marco Park, with a path connecting the park to the shared path.
Participants may not run with dogs. Strollers are allowed. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; requests for more time must be arranged with the organizer by email. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, results posted on the organizer website within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks.
