Event overview
The Twin Cities Hot Cider Hustle takes place in Bloomington, Minnesota at the Normandale Lake Bandshell on October 18, 2025. The event offers two race distances:
- Half marathon
- 5K
The half marathon course is USATF certified and the courses are entirely on paved road or trail around Normandale Lake. Races are chip timed. Finish line items for participants include a 2025 finisher mug, a choice of a thin-tec hoodie or classic t-shirt, hot apple cider and caramel apples. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; a 5K finisher medal is available as an add-on. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group.
Participant information
Packet pickup can be mailed for a fee of $17, picked up in advance at DICK’S Sporting Goods (1700 W 78th St., Richfield, MN 55423), or collected on event morning (not recommended). Virtual entries are available and virtual race gear is typically sent 1–4 days before race day. Course time limits are posted for each distance. Water stations provide water and the half marathon stations also include a sports drink. Additional notes: no dogs, strollers allowed for walkers and joggers (must start in the back), participants must sign a waiver, headphones are allowed but not recommended, and the event supports Special Olympics Minnesota.
