Twisted Ankle Trail Race
The Twisted Ankle Trail Race, held at Sloppy Floyd State Park in the scenic foothills of Northwest Georgia, offers trail running events of 5K, 10-mile, and half marathon distances. The course features a mix of wide trails, single track, and challenging terrain including rocks and roots, with highlights such as a climb to Marble Mine and Becky's Bluff, where runners experience a section of the Pinhoti Trail. The park spans 561 acres with lakes, camping, and recreational amenities.
