Tyler 'Smitty' Smith 5K

The Annual Tyler 'Smitty' Smith 5K is a memorial run/walk held in Rochelle, Illinois, honoring Tyler Smith, a passionate racer who passed away in 2018. This 5-kilometer event takes place at Atwood Park, across from Cooper Park, and welcomes runners and walkers of all levels, including those with strollers (no dogs allowed). The race is timed but does not award prizes for finishing times.

Participants receive a race entry, a t-shirt, and lunch from Hicks BBQ served at the Rochelle VFW. Proceeds support the Tyler Smith Memorial Foundation, funding local scholarships and charities.
