About the race
Ugly Sweater 5K & Merry Mile in Falmouth, Maine is a holiday-themed fundraiser for the Falmouth Memorial Library. It offers a chip-timed 5K road race and a 1-mile festive walk, with proceeds benefiting the library’s Annual Fund. The course runs from Depot Road onto Route 1, then Route 88, Old Mill, Edgewater, Anderson, Ridgeway, and back to Depot, with start and finish on Depot Road in front of the American Legion.
Bib pickup is near the Legion, and refreshments follow the event. Participants are encouraged to wear ugly or original sweaters, with awards for outfits and a post-race raffle. Family discounts are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
