UIS - BOS Turkey Trot 5K
The UIS - BOS Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the University of Illinois Springfield, One University Plaza, Springfield, IL 62703-5407. The event includes an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option. The registration fee for each option is $35. All registration fees and donations go directly to the UIS Cross Country and Track Program.
Logistics and race items
Packet pick-up is available on November 26 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on race day from 6:00 am to 8:00 am at the Recreation and Athletic Center on the UIS campus (Richard Wright Dr., Springfield, IL). The deadline to be guaranteed a long-sleeve T-shirt is November 14. In-person registration closes on November 27, 2025; the virtual option has a registration deadline of November 26, 2025.
